ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
We are looking for an energetic, well-organised and suitably experienced individual to join our People and Culture team. Reporting to the Coordinator People and Culture, this is an important support role that contributes to the effective delivery of People and Culture services across Council. The position is responsible for providing professional and responsive customer service, administrative and payroll support, ensuring information and services are delivered accurately, efficiently and with a high level of confidentiality.
A key responsibility is the maintenance of people-related systems, records and workforce data, supporting accurate reporting, organisational compliance, decision making and workforce planning.
Hours of work for this part time position are 28 hours per week worked across Monday to Thursday.

- Certificate in business administration or equivalent.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in administrative roles, including maintaining databases, generating reports, and preparing and reviewing documents.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, while adapting to changing priorities and resolving issues independently.
- Demonstrated experience and high level competence in the use of the Microsoft Office package.
- Proven highly developed communication skills, both oral and written.
- Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service and deal with sensitive issues using diplomacy, assertiveness and compassion.
- Proven experience working collaboratively in a team environment, contributing positively to division and organisational outcomes.

- A part time annual salary range of $54,700 to $62,800 (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
