ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
We are seeking a positive and customer focussed individual to professionally represent Council in this frontline position.
Working in a frontline capacity, the position provides friendly, professional and responsive customer service to our community, contributing to a positive public image of Council.
A key focus of the role is to provide prompt and accurate information and assistance to internal and external customers, as well as accurately receiving and reconciling cash, cheque and card payments.
To be successful you will bring
- Behaviour that positively demonstrates Council’s values of: creative, accessible, respect, energetic and safe.
- Completion of Certificate III in a relevant field and/or extensive relevant work experience in a similar field.
- Proven highly developed customer service skills with experience in a face-to-face customer service role, including cash handling and reconciliations.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with experience in the Microsoft 365 and other corporate software.
- Proven excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal history check.

- A part time annual salary range of up to $42,300 to $48,600 (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
