ABOUT THE ROLE

Position

We are looking for an energetic, well-organised and suitably experienced individual to join our People and Culture team. Reporting to the Coordinator People and Culture, this role will contribute to the coordination of recruitment and labour hire activities, provide high-quality administrative support throughout the recruitment and selection process, and deliver professional and responsive customer service to internal and external customers.

The position will play a key part in providing high-level support across Council’s recruitment and People and Culture activities, helping to attract, engage and support Council’s workforce.

This part time role is for a temporary period of up to eight months.

  • Demonstrated previous experience in the human resources field.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service and deal with sensitive issues using diplomacy, assertiveness and compassion.
  • Proven competency with the Microsoft 365 and other corporate software.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team that has a focus on delivering quality customer service within set timeframes.

The rewards

  • A part time annual salary range of $41,000 to $50,700 (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
