ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
As a member of Council's road maintenance team, this position plays an important role in keeping our roadsides well maintained by safely and efficiently operating a side arm tractor to undertake roadside slashing across the Shire.

The position will also be responsible for providing relief operation of other plant and equipment and contributing to a range of operational activities associated with road construction and maintenance works.
To be successful you will bring

- Work Safely in the Construction Industry Induction ticket (white card).
- Class MR driver licence with relevant operational experience and a good and safe driving record.
- Demonstrated high level competence in the operation of a Side Arm Tractor in a civil construction and maintenance working environment.
- Willingness to operate and obtain tickets in a variety of plant including Backhoe, Excavator, Roller, Patching Truck, Street Sweeper, Backhoe, Front End Loader, Excavator and Side Arm.
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience in civil construction duties associated with roads and roadsides.

- A salary range of $63,700 to $73,100 per annum (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
