ABOUT THE ROLE

Position

We are offering a great opportunity for a motivated, energetic and experienced concreter to join our Engineering Works Section. Reporting to the Supervisor Concrete Construction and Drainage, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to complete the full range of concreting duties associated with the maintenance and construction of footpaths, cycleways, kerb and guttering, drainage and other concrete slabs and structures. 

To be successful you will bring

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in all aspects of concreting, including formwork, placement of rebar, measuring quantity required, ordering, pouring and screeding / finishing, surface treatment, curing concrete based on weather conditions and quality control.
• Demonstrated experience in and ability to perform a range of physical labouring duties.
• Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrated ability to operate various items of minor plant and equipment.

• A salary range of $61,300 to $70,300 per annum (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills and experience.
