ABOUT THE ROLE

Position

We are seeking a dedicated and appropriately qualified and experienced project manager to to be the Principals Authorised Person (PAP) on the contract for the Design Development and Construction of 2 x Bridges being constructed in Ballina. The role will ensure scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements are met for the bridge duplication works. 

This position is a temporary position for a period of up to 18 months to align with project funding provisions.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in overseeing civil and bridge construction projects, budgets and people in order to achieve desired outcomes in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to brief and manage service providers including consultants, contractors and temporary staff.
  • Proven sound project investigation and design skills associated with capital projects.
  • Proven excellent interpersonal skills, including high level ability to negotiate and consult on complex matters and provide technical advice and community information and services through effective written and verbal communication.
