ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
We are seeking a suitably experienced and customer focused individual to join Council's Project Management Office. Reporting to Council’s Manager Project Management Office, this position is responsible for providing high level communications and administration assistance to support the $57 million bridge duplication project and other capital works projects in the Shire. A focus of the role will be to implement a communication and engagement strategy, and provide administrative support to ensure proactive, transparent, and consistent communication with residents, businesses, and key stakeholders.
This part time position is a temporary position for a period of up to 12 months to align with project funding provisions.
To be successful you will bring

- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent, and/or demonstrated extensive experience in administrative roles.
- Proven experience in project administration, communications and/or community engagement, preferably within construction or major infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be collaborative and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, while adapting to changing priorities and resolving issues independently.
- Proven high level computer literacy with experience in Microsoft 365 and other corporate software, including familiarity with mapping software.
- Graphic design ability with experience using digital communication channels, including social media, content management systems, and email marketing platforms to effectively engage target audiences.

- An annual part time salary range of $46,500 to $53,400 (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
