ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
Ballina Shire Council has implemented special measures to achieve gender equality in our operational workforce. As part of Council’s targeted recruitment program, this role has been identified as suitable for female applicants only.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and safety conscious individual to join our Resource Recovery team. Reporting to the Coordinator Resource Recovery, this position will develop skills to assist with a variety of duties to contribute to the efficient delivery of waste management services to the community, while maintaining a professional and courteous public image.
As a Trainee Waste Management, you will be studying a Certificate III in Waste Management which is estimated to take up to 30 months to complete. Click here for further information of what you will be studying.
