ABOUT THE ROLE

Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and appropriately experienced professional to join our Water and Wastewater team. Reporting to the Coordinator Water and Wastewater, this position is responsible for overseeing the effective planning, programming, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, as well as technical expertise in water and wastewater systems.

To be successful you will bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering, project management or related discipline.
  • Proven professional experience in project management; particularly in water and wastewater infrastructure planning, design, and construction.
  • Demonstrated experience in the effective delivery of multiple infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated high-level communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to negotiate and consult on complex matters and provide technical advice and services.

The rewards

  • An annual salary range of $82,000 to $109,100 (plus 11.5% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
  • 19 day month flexible work arrangement. Council is currently trialling a range of flexible working options. Subject to operational requirements, full time office staff will have access to a nine day fortnight, with a thirty minute lunch break. For the duration of the trial arrangement, staff will also have the option to apply to work a compressed four day work week, subject to operational requirements and approval.
