ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
Council is offering a great opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic individual to lead and coordinate Council’s Utilities Construction team to ensure the efficient and high-quality delivery of
construction programs across water, wastewater, and stormwater services. This work is guided by a Service Level Agreement (SLA) that defines the responsibilities and expected performance standards. The position also contributes to the monitoring and evaluation of construction programs to ensure alignment with Council’s broader vision and the objectives outlined in the Delivery Program and Operational Plan.
To be successful you will bring

- Relevant qualifications and previous experience in a relevant field.
- Proven knowledge of construction practice for a broad range of civil works including, but not limited to, water, wastewater, stormwater and revetment walls.
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of contract management and procurement.
- Demonstrated experience in and ability to manage and lead teams.
The rewards
- A salary range of $92,600 to $106,200 per annum (plus 12% superannuation), dependent upon experience, skills and qualifications. This is applicable to a 9 day fortnight work arrangement, and incorporates the payment of five hours of approved overtime per fortnight according to Council’s Annual Salary Agreement.
